Future War in Space

The U.S. Air Force has releases a set time limit in which they have a futuristic goal set. They plan on to have new weapons and technologies ready between the time period 2010-2015. The Air Force's futuristic flight plan is he 176 page document, Transformation Flight Plan, offers a sweepinf look at how to best expand America's military space tool kit. One of the new gadgets is a Space Operations Vehicle (SOV) and this can be one of the vehicles that could deploy the Space Maneuver vehicle, a rapidly reusable orbital vehicle capable of executing a range of space control missions. In addition, the SOV can be utilized to deploy the Common Aero Vehicle, or CAV. This is all being brought forward by spokes people for the USAF.

A Military Space Plane could carry several Common Aero Vehicles, each containing multiple submunitions. Dropped from space, smart bombs and other high-velocity penetrators would strike enemy targets on Earth. The Air Force will be able to launch an attack from space and be able to deploy troops to enemy territory within minutes or hours and not days says the USAF.

The Air Force also plans to fight wars using space equipment and equipment on Earth to win decisive battles. The jet fighters in space can swoop down into Earth and attack enemy troops and then pull out so the land fighters can move in for the victory.
